Ownership is the preferred choice for clients needing to satisfy significant demand requirements, especially when the mission profile is expected to remain relatively stable. Ownership can also be the right solution even for clients with lower utilisation requirements if the aircraft is placed under management.
Having identified the optimum aircraft type the prospective buyer is faced with finding the best aircraft available on the market, and in certain cases, remarketing and/or exchanging an existing aircraft. ABA has over 25 years of experience in aircraft trading of all types and regularly puts this expertise to its clients advantage.
ABA provides clients with an accurate FMV (Fair Market Value), which is determined by a number of factors (see diagram below). A solid understanding of these factors is essential to determining the FMV.

Our quotations are based upon the direct cost of the trip plus a daily rate for usually one or (if two crew aircraft) two pilots. We keep all receipts and records and hand these over along with all required paperwork at the completion of the assignment. We ask for a 50% down payment and the balance on completion. Our pilots are fully licensed and rated for the types to be flown.
